You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing. ** *Department/Unit Summary* PRN must be able to attend 1 week of required hospital orientation along with 3-4 of unit orientation 3 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm 81 bed campus All patients 18 years of age and older 24 hour security on campus Self scheduling *Essential Functions* · Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. · Documents patient care given. · Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. · Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. · Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. · Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. · Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. *About our Health System* Frye Regional Medical Center is 355 bed acute hospital located in Hickory NC and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to /making communities healthier/® with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
