Job Overview:
The Trinitas Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a collaborative closed 25 bed mixed capacity unit supporting medical surgical cases under intensivist care. We provide management of acutely ill patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies and interventions, and continuing nursing vigilance. Our care management consists of care bundles based on evidence-based practices that are executed with compassion and care. Our intensive care nurses work with all patients and their families to create a healing, humane, and caring environment while focusing on patient advocacy.
This is a per diem position supporting Day Shift hours.
Qualifications:
Active New Jersey RN License or approved RN license requiredASN or BSN requiredAHA BLS prior to start date requiredPrevious Intensive Care is required for per diem roles Critical Care certifications and/or national nursing certifications are desiredChoosing RWJBarnabas Health!
