Functioning under moderate supervision, the Clinical Nurse II is, at minimum, a competent practitioner. This level clinician utilizes the nursing process in providing patient care and patient/family teaching. The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes. Patients served may include neonate through adult-geriatric.

QualificationsRequired
Graduate of accredited school of nursingCurrently licensed as an RN in the State of MarylandACLS required.Telemetry Nurse must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and have ability to recognize critical rhythms and seek intervention.Must successfully complete required hospital, nursing and unit orientation, including but not limited to BLS certification and medication certification required.Preferred
