RESPONSIBILITIES of the Registered Nurse (RN):

Care for individual based on personalized Plan of Care reviewed and approved by the Director of NursingCounsel clients and families through care process with regular updatesAssures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal lawsParticipates in agency performance improvement activities and continuously staying informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care

REQUIREMENTS of the Registered Nurse (RN):

Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public imageEmpathy for the needs of the clientsCurrent unrestricted RN license in the state of PennsylvaniaSelf-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervisionReliable and insured transportationExperience with venipunctureExperience with chronic disease education and managementCPR Certified-American Heart Association/Red CrossUnderstands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulationsAdhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
