The Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Oncology floor is a 32-bed unit dedicated to providing total quality care for the cancer patient. Our patients are cared for by a cancer team made up of physicians and clinicians from medical and radiation oncology and specialists from diagnostic radiology, surgery, urology, gynecology, and nuclear medicine. 

Nurses are trained and certified to administer chemotherapy/biotherapy and half of the staff are Oncology Certified Nurses. We are committed to providing excellent patient care in a supportive and nurturing environment and we are especially proud of our close collaboration with our oncologists, the Palliative Care team, and other departments and staff.

Qualifications

California RN License BLS from the American Heart Association. One-year recent experience in an acute care setting. Chemo/Bio card and Oncology experience preferred.
