The RN works in collaboration with other clinical and non-clinical staff to provide appropriate clinical interventions and treatment. Previous Pediatric Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing experience helpful. Graduate Nurses welcomed! Requirements: + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) + License in good standing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. + Minimum of one year mental health, pediatric, adolescent or physical health nursing experience preferred. + Demonstrated ability to function as a member of a team required. + Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills required. + Must have the ability to express or exchange information by means of spoken word. Must have the ability to read, understand, speak and write in English. Bilingual skills helpful. + The candidate must possess a valid Driver's License. + CPR certification or immediate certification training required. + Must be able to be trained and certified to observe current KidsPeace approved restraint methodology and have the ability to participate in and/or observe all aspects of restraint procedures on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and are verbally or physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others. + Must be able to work OT if necessary.
