License/Certifications: Current NYS license to practice Professional Nursing or NY State limited permit to practice BLS, ACLS required through the RQI system during clincial orientation. Basic Coronary Care certification obtained within 6 month of hire. CPR certified, Coronary care course, CCRN recommended within 2 years Experience: Preferred : 1 year acute care experience. Other: Minimum : Analytical skills to assess, prepare, implement and evaluate the outcomes of the plan of care of patients / families. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
