The Interventional Radiology department serves over 5,000 patients each year, both inpatient and outpatient, adult and pediatric population, from every patient care-oriented service line on the campus. Our multi-disciplinary team of Interventional Radiologists, Neurosurgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Nurses, and Technologists provides excellent patient care across multiple modalities including Body IR, Peripheral Vascular, Neuro Interventional, and Aortic Endovascular.

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Clinical Coordinator provides a safe and therapeutic core by collaborating with the Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and other relevant providers as part of the healthcare team in performing a safe operation. To help achieve our mission, the Coordinator supports the clinical management of safe patient care delivery with optimal patient outcomes by providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice and serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor

Minimum: Five (5) years of experience in interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab; or five years of interventional radiology experience or equivalent years of experience as a Registered Nurse working in a critical care hospital unit. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology or Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience. RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN Cerifications :BLS (American Heart Association) and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiologist (RCES), RTRCV, RTRVI, RTRCI unless a graduate of an accredited school of nursing required at start.For internal use only: #LI-KA1 IND1
