Responsibilities The Registered Nurse—Same Day Surgery will provide direction to professional and non-professional clinical personnel in providing direct patient care. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate degree in nursing required, Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as an RN in a hospital or an ambulatory surgery center Active and current NJ State professional Registered Nurse license Current BLS certification ACLS (obtainable within the first three months of employment) Ability to initiate IV therapy, blood specimen collection, point of care testing and perform EKG (skills obtainable within the first three months of employment) Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately. Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree preferred.
