Job Description:
A Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Assessment and identification of patient needs and implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems; and performs technical aspects of care competently.Has access to medication storage areas as required for job tasks. Follows Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.Requirements:
Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)Completion and maintenance of BLS.ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) within 6 months of hire.Preferred TNCCNIHSS within 3 months of hire.Benefits:
