**Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department - Full-Time Day Shift, 11A-11P for Texas Health Alliance** _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ **Work location: Texas Health Alliance -10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244** **Work hours: Full-Time - Day Shift - 11a - 11p - 36 Hours/ Week - 3/12 hour shifts a week** **ED highlights:** + Working with a Multi-Disciplinary Team + Patients withcritical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of our 40 Emergency Rooms + The opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical technology and equipment + Level III trauma center + Self-scheduling unit with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational Professional Growth Opportunities **Here’s What You Need** + Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred + CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required) + RN - Current Registered Nurse required Upon Hire + BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required + ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire + CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire + ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire required + TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months of hire required + PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire + 1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required. + 2-3 years ER experience preferred. **What You Will Do** Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process + Assesses the patient + Plans the care of the patient + Intervenes as appropriate + Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions + Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. + Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information + Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
