**Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department - PRN II Rotating Shifts**

**Work location:** Texas Health Alliance -10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244
**Work hours: PRN Level II/per diem, Rotating shift; minimum requirement: 3 shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 weekend shift/per 6-week schedule, 1 major/1 minor holiday requirement**

**Here’s What You Need**
+ Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
+ Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency requires
+ RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
+ BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
+ ACLS – within 90 days of hire
+ CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
+ 1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse required
+ ENPC – Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course – 6 months required
+ TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course – 6 months required
+ PALS - within 90 days of hire
+ 2-3 year ER experience preferred
**What You Will Do**
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
+ Assesses the patient
+ Plans the care of the patient
+ Intervenes as appropriate
+ Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
+ Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
+ Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
+ Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
