The Medical unit has 36 comfortably appointed, private inpatient rooms. The unit includes a relaxation room for staff in addition to a staff locker/break room. Staff is actively involved in Shared Governance through committee work, both on the unit and hospital level; ensuring that nurses are involved in decision making and have a voice at all levels of the organization. Requirements:
More than 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
BLS, American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider certification required.
RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
Proficient computer skills required.
