Part Time Nights
Summary:The Shift Nurse Supervisor is responsible for administration and operational activities on weekends, evening and night shifts. The supervisor serves as a clinical resource to direct care staff. Assumes responsibility and authority as delegated by the Chief Nurse Officer/Sr. Chief Nurse Officer. Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, Bachelors degree in nursing business or health-related field preferred or actively pursuing degree.
Experience: Five years of acute care nursing experience preferred. 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities: Interpersonal skills sufficient to provide effective leadership. Effective problem resolution capabilities; able to be decisive and deal equitable in all situations. Able to make effective use of resources.
Registration, Certification or Licensure Requirement: Current Ohio RN Licensure; Basic Life Support Certification.
Hours:
Shift: Nights with rotation
Hours: 7:00PM - 7:30AM
Hours per pay period: 48
Weekend, holiday and on-call rotation required per department policy
