We are currently hiring a part time Intake Registered Nurse (RN) at Fremont Hospital for the Evening Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm. This position is a hybrid role (in hospital and remote) that may transition into a fully remote position at a later time. As an active member of the Assessment & Referral Team, the Intake RN performs the Initial Medical Screening Assessments for incoming patients and coordinates with the Medical Staff in directing the patient towards an appropriate level of care. This position may serve as Qualified Medical Professional (QMP) and/or Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). Commuting to Fremont Hospital is easy! Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of one (1) year direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting, with direct experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations. Licensure: Current active RN license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Additional Requirement: CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification required.
