At Mercy Medical Center the Labor & Delivery Unit, Family Life Center 16-bed birth center proudly serves new moms and families in the local community by offering exceptional care, delivered by attentive staff with a complete array of amenities-all in a serene, homelike setting.  We provide quality care for mothers during the final stages of pregnancy with birthing, monitoring mothers’ vital signs and becoming acute in signs of symptoms of possible complications. What you will do

In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.  BSN graduate preferred.

Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts.

Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS & Neonatal resuscitation required within 6 months of hire.  C-EFM certification within two years of hire.

Preferred Skills: 

Experience: Previous Maternal Child Health experience preferred.

Work Schedule:  Part Time – 24 hours – 8 Hour Day Shift, Every other Weekend, Holiday.
