Work where you matter. **Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.** **_Position Highlights:_** + **Positive Work Environment:** Be part of an organization where we practice the mission in our daily operations and demonstrate our pride by delivering excellent care. + **Career Growth:** Great opportunity to obtain health care experience for those that are looking to further their education in a healthcare related field. + **Job Satisfaction:** Each day you will positively impact each patient you serve with providing direct resident care. **Job Summary** + The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care and performs nursing assessment skills and treatments in accordance with registered nurse standard nursing practice for patients of all ages including newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric. **Education** + Associate's degree in Nursing required. + Six months to one year of experience preferred **Licensure/Certification/Registration** + Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska or multistate licensure in a compact state. + Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. + Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire. + Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire. + Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire. + Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within six months of hire. **Work Schedule** + Hours: Varied Shifts; PRN **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
