Get to Know Your Team: Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management, offering state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They are responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for medical/surgical patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. They collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. They serve in a resource role when oriented and as directed. They support the organization’s vision and mission. They utilize knowledge of patient age and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. They contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Qualifications Job Requirements: Six months previous nursing experience required. Associates in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma RN from an accredited school of nursing required. Current RN License or Compact License deemed by the OK State Board of Nursing required. Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire required. Preferred Job Requirements: Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSBN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
