Med/Surg Telemtry Medical-surgical nursing is characterized by caring for a patient and provides direct care to patients suffering from a variety of illnesses and ailments. For instance, in a single day, they may attend to patients that are acutely ill, managing a disease and/or preparing for/recovering from surgery.
