Job Overview:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care within a designated time period. Provides nursing care based on department and regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively with other members of the health care team.

Required:
Graduate from an accredited School of NursingCompletion of required skill level coursesCertifications and Licenses Required:
Current New Jersey RN licenseCurrent AHA BLS CertificationScheduling Requirements:
Shift working, 7:00-7:30Essential Functions:
Demonstrates Competency in Clinical PracticeFollows MMCSC documentation policies and proceduresFollows MMCSC policies and procedures related to time and attendanceProvides accurate report on patients health care status to members of the health care teamProvides and evaluates patient/family education based on the patient s individual needsReports changes in the patients condition to the Licensed Independent Practioner (LIP) and Charge Nurse/Assistant Director of Patient Care in a timely mannerServes as liaison between patient, family, and Licensed Independent Practioner (LIP)Serves as mentor to new employeesUtilizes resources to provide safe, appropriate, and efficient patient careUtilizes the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe and effective patient care in a timely mannerOther Duties:
