Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient - Government Clinics

Inova Health  is looking for a dedicated Occupational Health RN to join the team. This role will be full-time, day shift Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:15pm. Nurses will be asked to float between clinics occasionally. 

Successful candidates will be required to complete a government security form and pass a government background check. 

Clinic hours are 7:45 am-4:15pm Monday-Friday.

Main Duties:

Administering vaccines, health assessments, blood draws, routine care, urgent care, and medical assistance as necessary Clinical and Professional practice: demonstrates clinical nursing expertise and professional competency through the planning, implementation and management of programs that support the health, safety, and well-being of team members

 

Requirements


Experience 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience. Strongly preferred: More than 5 years’ experience as an RN; experience in ED, ICU, Urgent Care, Occ Health or Federal agencies desired.

Top Secret Security Clearance (ISSA/TS/SCI) preferred.

If Team Member does not hold Top Secret Security Clearance (ISSA/TS/SCI) at the time of hire, the Team Member must obtain it within one year of the hire date.

 

Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Certification: BLS certification required.


Licensure - Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment


Special Skills - Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills required.
