Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse Patient Advocate schedules inpatient and outpatient procedures for Interventional Radiology. Communicates with patients, referring offices and physicians regarding procedure requested and guidelines for procedure as directed by the Interventional Radiologists and OSF Policy and Procedure. Works closely with Interventional Radiology team to facilitate patient flow, patient experience and scheduling of patient procedures in real time daily. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors Licenses/Certifications: RN-Registered Nurse CPR – American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: 2 years nursing experience with direct patient care Knowledge of interventional readiology procedures Experience in an an office setting and/or procedural ambulatory setting OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
