Our Woodburn Surgery Center is seeking an experienced OR RN or PreOp/PACU experienced Nurse for a full-time position as an RN Perioperative Liaison. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 7.00am-3.30pm. Preference for RNs with OR nursing experience.
Woodburn Surgery Center is a recently renovated ambulatory surgery center that serves a continuum of patients ranging from the adolescent to geriatric population servicing the Musculoskeletal patient population. The Surgery Center will operate 3-5 OR suites daily.
The Perioperative Nurse Liaison achieves optimal patient outcomes utilizing an integrated approach. Ensures improvements in practice settings by providing direction and guidance to others regarding practice. Serves as a resource, preceptor and mentor while demonstrating leadership skills in decision making and problem solving. Provides knowledgeable/caring clinical practice and care coordination through collaboration with the patient, family, nurse and healthcare delivery teams.

Perioperative Liaison Job Requirements:
One year of Preoperative and PACU and/or OR nursing experience is required
• Education - Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Associate’s degree. If RN has an Associate’s degree, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
•RN License to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
•BLS for Healthcare Provider certification via American Heart Association
