Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Specialist Clinic
Job Description​Excellent opportunity for an RN looking to make a difference in one of our Women's Specialty clinics in Lee's Summit!Full - Time, days position - no call or weekends required!Candidates must have both MO and KS state licenses or a compact/multi-state license to work for our Saint Luke's Physician Group!

The responsibilities for this position will include covering patient phone encounters, patient messages, calling patients with test results, and refilling medications for patients. This position will also cover patients who come in for postpartum blood pressure checks. This position will also cover other triage RN’s when they have scheduled days off, call ins, nurse visits, rooming for clinic if MA calls out. Without this position, there would not be available support staff to support this new workload.

In clinic setting:

Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.

Provide telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care.

Schedule emergent need patient appointments, identify learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations, insert intravenous access with medication administration and duties as assigned based on clinic need.

Delegate tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice.

Serve as subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing.

Enter admission orders as directed by provider.

Manage expired samples.

Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.

Provide excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.

May cover Medical Assistant, LPN, or other office duties as needed.
