The Registered Nurse provides high quality nursing services to community residents based on each resident’s individual service plan and physician’s orders.
What will I do every day?
You will monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in conditionEffectively supervise departmental operations on a day-to-day basisAssess residents to identify their physical, psycho social and environmental needsCommunicate, identify, report and document problemsDemonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriatelyIdentify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality care of the residentDocument evaluation f nursing interventions including resident responseAssess resident and staff knowledge base of disease process, treatment regimen and/or medication administration and assist with care plansProvide resident care activities under the direction of the Assisted Living DirectorAssist with Medication Management ProgramParticipate in the Assisted Living performance improvement processPresent required new hire training and ongoing skills training for associatesAs well as perform other related duties as required
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Be a graduate of an accredited RN program Have a minimum of one-year experience as a nurse in a senior care settingHave some Assisted living experience (preferred)
Special Requirements/Certifications I may need?
Current active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practiceHands on experience with ports and Huber needles a plusExperience in wound careHands on experience with Dialysis shunts a plus
