Job Summary

This part-time position evaluates the competency of direct care professionals to provide Home Health Aide services in the client's home or in Help at Home's comp lab. Additionally, provider agrees to complete the HHA competency assessment to meet the requirements of the HHA licensure registry.

A typical day for an RN Staff Evaluator includes:Competency evaluations of direct care personnel to provide home health aide servicesShower, bed-bath, tub-bath, and partial-bath trainingHoyer-lift trainingCatheter-care trainingIdeal candidates can successfully evaluate direct care personnel in the following areas:Recognizing emergencies/Emergency preparednessDocumentationReporting changes in patient condition or skin condition/breakdownReporting changes in body function/Pain managementVital signs – temp, pulse and respirationsInfection control/Hazardous wasteGrooming (hair, nail, and skin care) Qualifications:Indiana or multi-state RN licensureOne (1) year of homecare experienceTwo (2) years of nursing experienceWhat We’re Offering:Competitive hourly rateSupportive clinical leadership teamScheduling flexibility (1-2 day work schedule)Work/life balance
