Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a REGISTERED NURSE - STROKE COORDINATOR join our Emergency team!The Stroke Nurse Coordinator actively develops and maintains the hospital wide Stroke Care program that achieves Acute Stroke Ready Hospital Accreditation by The Joint Commission. Also works directly with the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers and affiliate health care staff to establish advanced stroke care education and delivery systems.
HOURS: Supplemental or .2 FTE, 16 hours every pay period. Varied shifts.
Experience/Qualifications
WI State Registered Nurse License required (as well as: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC)Bachelor of Nursing degree preferredMinimum of one year work experience in an Emergency DepartmentKnowledgeable of pre-hospital care management.Excellent Communication skillsPreferred Experience: Emergency Department NursingProcess improvement experience, working with teamsCustomer service experience
