Under the direction of the unit director, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the care and safety of the patient. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree or higher degree in nursing Licensure/Certification/Registration Florida Registered Nurse License BLS ACLS PALS NIH Experience Required A minimum of 2 years ED experience, or a minimum of 1 full year in the ED with 1 full year in another hospital care area. Experience in the ED should be current, or within 1 year. Acceptable experience, in lieu of ED experience: –Any critical care nursing or Paramedic experience on a 1:1 basis Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
