Registered Polysomnographic TechnologistFull Time, Nights

$30,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified individuals

Job Description:Must performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis. This may involve polysomnography, diagnosis and therapeutic services, or patient care and education. Tech is responsible for the timely analysis of polysomnographic studies and generation of concise, detailed summary reports for review by the Medical Staff for confirmation of diagnosis. Will perform daytime polysomnographic procedures, such as PSG for third shift workers, MSLT’s, and MWT’s. Home sleep test preparation and education.Must aid in the ordering of supplies and equipment maintenance. May also be required to aid in training staff and will provide oversight as needed.Requirements:Must possess a solid knowledge base in the clinical application of Polysomnographic studies.High School diploma or equivalency.Successful completion of a Polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited education facility; or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.Minimum of six (6) months experience as a Polysomnographic TechnologistMust be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist.Must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
