Position Summary:

Provides diagnostic polysomnographic testing and treatment according to established standards and practices and maintains equipment and supplies for the Sleep Laboratory.

Reports to: Manager

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provides non-invasive treatment in conjunction with PSG as ordered by Physician.Drag Edit DeletePerforms standard and complex PSG recordings and scoring as ordered by Physician.
Drag Edit DeleteArranges for treatment through other local homecare suppliers.Drag Edit DeleteAbstracts relevant information from the patient’s clinical record and obtains additional information from the patient or caregiver if necessary.Drag Edit DeleteFollows patients after testing to determine if appropriate understanding of testing results and to answer questions regarding treatment as needed.Drag Edit DeleteSets up home sleep testing equipment and provides training for patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduated from accredited CAAHEP program (preferred)
