Outpatient Radiology Technologist

Kootenai Health is seeking a registered or a 2nd year student Radiology Tech for our Outpatient team!

Position Summary:

Operates x-ray equipment in support of the provision of diagnostic and/or therapeutic services.

 

Responsibilities:                  

May prepare and administer various chemical mixtures as appropriate to the nature of the procedure being carried out Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Works under immediate supervision A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Typically reports to an Imaging Supervisor Performs other related duties as assigned Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

 

 

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:

Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a college or technical school in Radiologic Technology or US Military equivalent required Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required BLS required
