As a Registered Radiology Technologist, you will be part of a knowledgeable family of caregivers that is constantly seeking ways to hone their skills in order to provide the best patient experience possible. While growing alongside your team, you can also explore opportunities offered through Cleveland Clinic, such as Imaging school and MRI, cat scan or ultrasound programs.   

A caregiver in this position works evenings from 3:00PM - 11:00PM and 3:30PM - 11:30PM, with on-call requirements.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.  Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.  Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.  Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.  Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.  Maintain documentation.  Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.  Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing  Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

Standing and walking for extended periods of timeLifting or assisting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily
