Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 149 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Statement of Purpose:
Milford Regional Medical Center’s Respiratory Therapists are recognized as key members of the patient care team. Our group of therapists provide all aspects of respiratory care ranging from medical gas administration, aerosolized medication delivery, and lung expansion techniques to assisting with bronchoscopies, artificial airway care, and ventilator management. Our Respiratory Therapists are also active members of the code blue and rapid response teams, and they respond to high-risk deliveries and take care of infants in our newly-renovated level 1-B nursery. Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate, Associate Degree Respiratory Care from CoARC accredited program.
Certification / License: RRT, MA Respiratory Care License, current CPR skills. Preferred: ACLS, NRP, PALS.
Experience: One year preferred. Less acceptable under special circumstances such as part-time experience while in school, or previous experience as CRT. Experience in all aspects of respiratory care and with all groups preferred.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy
