As a public employer, employees participate in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System (OPERS).** Required Qualifications: + Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy + Possess and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) + Active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board + Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification + Reliable transportation to travel to other MetroHealth facilities as needed. Preferred Qualifications: + 3 years of experience as a RRT in a critical care environment. + Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring + Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA + Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA
