Today, through our state-of-the-art Level One Trauma Center, cutting-edge specialty care units, and dedicated caregivers, the system is working at the forefront of medicine to address the overall needs of our patients and eliminate healthcare disparities. **Join our Respiratory Therapy Team!** _Patient Care Locations:_ + MetroHealth Main Campus Medical Center – Glick Center + MetroHealth Physical Rehab Institute + Parma Medical Center + Cleveland Heights Medical Center _Patient Populations:_ + Emergency Departments + Acute Care Inpatient Specialty Units + Adult Intensive Care Units + Neonatal Intensive Care Unit + Pediatric Intensive Care Unit + Labor and Delivery + Postpartum Care _Primary skills utilized/learned:_ + Invasive and Non-invasive ventilation management + Evidence-based patient driven protocol pathways + Critical thinking and time management + Multi-disciplinary patient care management _Personnel RRT will work with_ _:_ + RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Dieticians **MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. As a public employer, employees participate in the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System (OPERS).** Required Qualifications: + Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy + Possess and maintain an active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) + Active Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) license from the Ohio Medical Board + Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification + Reliable transportation to travel to other MetroHealth facilities as needed. Preferred Qualifications: + 3 years of experience as a RRT in a critical care environment. + Extensive experience with mechanical ventilation, airway management, and hemodynamic monitoring + Possess a Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the AHA + Possess an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) form the AHA
