Collects information from incoming patients regarding services needed, insurance available, or financial status. May assist in completion of admissions or insurance forms. Contacts insurance providers to verify coverage and obtain authorization for service. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Scheduling/ Pre registration/ Front desk Registration and Insurance verification are necessary job duties for this position
