FOR MUNSTER LOCATION - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COVER ALL SHIFTS AS A FLOAT

SHIFT TIMES MAY VARY: 11AM-7:30PM, 1PM-9:30PM, 2:30PM-11PM & 9PM-6:30AM

FULL-TIME / BENEFIT ELIGIBLE

POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

 Processes the admission/registration function for patients entering the health care organization in accordance with all hospital policies.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school graduate or equivalent

1-year business related experience preferred

Basic Medical Terminology preferred

Basic health insurance knowledge preferred

Proficiency in computer data/typing. Ability to type 35 wpm. Basic computer skills

Epic experience preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Previous customer service skills required

Ability to prioritize, concentrate, multi-task and ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
