Registration Rep II - Madison Hospital Imaging - PRN - 1st Shift

Greets public, patients and families.  Using appropriate system, schedules out-patient appointments, prepares new IP orders and enters patient charges.  Performs clerical functions, to include answering incoming telephone calls, typing, word processing and copying.  Completes Time and Attendance editing and department/therapist productivity reports.  Assists with patient treatment as necessary.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

 

Education: High School graduate or GED required.  Must receive Healthcare Provider CPR certification within orientation period.

 

Experience: Minimum of two years secretarial experience required. Comparable combination of education and experience considered.

 

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in use of personal computer. Ability to use basic office equipment to include copiers, FAX machines, typewriters, computers, printers, telephones, intercom systems and transcription machine.
