We're looking for an experienced regulatory leader to join a dynamic, fast growing beauty business. The Regulatory team is a core cross-functional partner, enabling our brands to grow and thrive in all the markets we operate in. We’re looking for a Global Regulatory Manager to transform the way we operate our regulatory activities in our Global EMEA & APAC markets.

About the role

As Global Regulatory Manager for No7 Beauty Company, you will play a critical role in launching and expanding our product portfolio in EMEA & APAC regions.

You will span across a wide network of stakeholders including Quality, Claims, Product Development, Brand, Supply Chain, Commercial, external regulatory partners across the globe and is a critical enabler in delivering the No7 BC global strategy.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

The Global Regulatory Manager for Markets is responsible for all aspects of product regulatory compliance for our brands sold regionally in EMEA and APAC:

• Team Leadership: Accountable for leading, developing and managing a team of five, to become critical enablers of our 3 year growth strategy.

• Strategy: Accountable for setting a regulatory strategy underpinning No7 Beauty Company brands & enabling successful product launches in EMEA & APAC’s existing and new markets.

• Market entry & expansion: Accountable for regulatory activities underpinning the delivery of No7 beauty products in new or expanding markets against the 3Y plan.

• Horizon Scanning: Represent No7 Beauty Company externally, building strong external networks and influencing EMEA & APAC regulatory framework in line with No7 BC’s brand equity. Accountable for feeding in areas of threat and opportunities to the Global Horizon Scanning process and EMEA & APAC commercial team.

• Product Compliance: Responsible for regulatory compliance of No7 Beauty Company products sold in EMEA & APAC, as well as compliance to internal and distributor’s standards. Point of escalation for regulatory issues and incidents in EMEA & APAC.

• Processes & Governance: Accountable for developing processes to ensure efficiencies and delivery of regulatory activities across all distribution channels. Relationship holder with trade bodies and regional partners, representing and protecting No7 Beauty Company brands and products. Accountable for developing and maintaining robust tools and data management systems to ensure compliance and provide product dossiers to the markets on time for successful approval.

 

What you’ll need to have

• 8-10 years’ experience of working in a regulatory environment, preferably within the cosmetic/OTC area

• Adopt a pragmatic, logical and enthusiastic approach to problem solving

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to develop strong partnerships with cross functional technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to develop, motivate and integrate teams

• Experience managing and prioritising a varied workload

• Demonstrate commercial acumen
