We're hiring! Kemin is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our Animal Nutrition and Health team.  This position is responsible for preparing and submitting dossiers to support registration of enzyme products used in animal feed in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and/or Central America. 

 

The ideal candidate will have experience successfully registering feed enzymes in the United states. Candidates with lesser experience may be considered for a commensurate role.

In addition, we have a robust internship and externship program, and frequently host student tours.  Responsibilities Review and interpret scientific data supporting safety and efficacy of feed enzymes to prepare dossiers to support regulatory approval for a variety of non-GMO and GMO enzymes used in livestock feed.Interpret relevant government regulations and determine regulatory requirements to prepare dossiers for government approval of various feed enzyme products.Prepare and submit dossiers for a variety of feed enzymes to regulatory agencies in North America, not limited to FDA and CFIA. Develop and utilize regulatory strategies to achieve product registrations for feed enzymes on a timely basis to support commercialization efforts.Serve as a Kemin regulatory feed enzyme expert under the direction of senior Regulatory Affairs management.

Collaborate and communicate with other internal departments such as, but not limited to R&D, Marketing, Sales, Technical Services, Finance, and Leadership team members.

Responsible for review of enzyme product formulations, product claims, labels, and associated marketing and sales collateral.Attend industry meetings or trade shows when necessary; stay current on trends as they affect feed enzyme regulations. Qualifications Education and Experience:Bachelors Degree in a Science related  field with a minimum or 7+ years of demonstrated experience in successfully preparing dossiers and registering enzymes used in animal feed with the FDA and CFIA.Must be customer service oriented and work well with varied personalities inside and outside of Kemin. Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to read, write, and handle basic math problems.Ability to manage projects while working in a fast paced business environment. Analytical abilities.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Up to 5% travel.
