We are searching for a Regulatory Analyst, Sr on behalf of our client. This is a 1 yr. contract assignment. (W-2) Under limited supervision, ensures compliance requirements are effectively coordinated and met including compliance with rules, regulations and requirements. Includes investigations, policy, training, and monitoring efforts. Identifies issues affecting the Company and develops/coordinates proposed Company strategies/responses for management/legal consideration/approval. Provides guidance/direction on compliance matters within and outside the business unit.

Responsibilities
This includes planning, coordination and preparation of all filing requirements/responses in docketed proceedings/un-docketed matters (e.g., testimony, rate case minimum filing requirements (MFRs), discovery requests, audit requests, tariff filings, hearings, territorial agreements and other miscellaneous requests for information). Coordinates/prepares Distribution responses to state/federal regulatory/legislative actions/proposals. Identifies issues affecting the Company and develops/coordinates proposed Company strategies/responses for management/legal consideration/approval. Provides guidance/direction on regulatory matters within and outside the business unit. Develop plans and coordinate the timely preparation and submission of FPSC regulatory filings and responses (Docketed and non-docketed) Provide regulatory support and guidance on rules, regulations, and filings Conduct or participate in special studies and analysis concerning business unit operations and performance
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work experience 5+ years’ experience in regulatory matters (e.g., coordinate dockets, participate in rulemaking or other proceedings, prepare filings) Expert ability with analysis and problem solving, commercial, and process/project management skills Advance ability with communications, integrity and compliance, leadership, and professional skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Paralegal, or related field of study Primary (Essential) Develop plans and coordinate the timely preparation and submission of compliance and complaint responses Provide support and guidance on rules, regulations, and filings Conduct or participate in special initiatives and analysis concerning business unit operations and performance Ability to work extended hours
