Regulatory Analyst (Hybrid)
Description The Regulatory Analyst will support the Regulatory Affairs Unit of the Compliance and Ethics Department by interpreting laws and regulations to ensure effective implementation for the company’s requirements and initiatives and help avoiding high risk to the business. MUST have experience: - Background in highly regulatory industry; preferably healthcare - Ability to read, interpret, understand, articulate, and communicate new laws/regulations and impacts on organization - Analytical/ BA skills - Project coordination skills Responsibly: • Monitor, read, and interpret new laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to the healthcare insurance industry. • Analyze and research the impact of regulatory changes on company operations and policies. • Assist as one of the point of contacts within the organization for regulatory inquiries and compliance issues. • Provide clear and concise summaries of regulatory changes to internal stakeholders. • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance strategies and policies. • Collaborate with various departments to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and met. • Work with project coordinators to assist in mapping projects, milestones, timelines, stakeholders, etc., • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation as required. • Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory developments. • Support the monitoring of compliance activities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Identify potential risks and issues related to compliance projects and propose mitigation strategies. • Assist in developing and delivering informational training presentations related to regulatory implementation. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of regulatory change management processes and procedures. Required Skill Sets and Level of Competency: • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Strong analytical and research skills. • Knowledge of common business and functional procedures. • Strong organization and prioritization skills. • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or equivalent applications). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
