Regulatory Business Intelligence Advisor
011050 CCA-BI & Analytics **Position Summary:** At CCA, Business Intelligence (BI) provides key decision support to CCA executives and leadership. The BI department is led by the Senior Vice President, Business Intelligence and managed through a matrix-management environment. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with many team members to bring actionable data and insights into the broader organization. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, this role will participate in BI Engagements, assisting in creating product design mock-ups and drafting development instructions Business Intelligence is the gateway to data-driven decisions and this role will help us build the evidence and rationale for important organizational programs. **Supervision Exercised:** + No, this position does not have direct reports. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** + Assist in tasks assigned by Director, Business Intelligence for specific projects as part of the BI Engagement lifecycles + Identify key data findings and trends in projects through graphical visualizations + Support the design and monitor end-user reporting tools and systems + Analyze large data sets into clear and concise observations + Develop data visualizations through graphics and visualization software. + Support the design of advanced conceptual, logical, and physical data organizations, models, repositories, dashboards, and reports within a complete functional and technical architecture + Draft and maintain technical requirement documentation for report developers + Perform other related work as assigned **Education:** + Bachelor's degree required **Experience Required:** + 1-3 years of experience in health insurance industry preferred + Background in health care analytics or business intelligence + Experience working in a Matrix-Managed environment **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:** + Programming language skills (SQL & SASS) + Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines + Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills + Knowledge of care management and health care industry practices. + Analytic and Problem-solving skills + Initiative, work ethic, ambition, and an appetite for challenging and often unstructured assignments. **Software** + Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote + SQL, SAS EG, Tableau, Looker **Required Language (must have):** + English **Working Conditions:** + Office Environment; may require some travel between worksite locations **Other:** + Standard Office Equipment + Standard Office Physical Requirements EEO is The Law Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled Please note employment with CCA is contingent upon acceptable professional references, a background check (including Mass CORI, employment, education, criminal check, and driving record, (if applicable)), an OIG Report and verification of a valid MA/RN license (if applicable).
