The RoleThe Regulatory Compliance Engineer role is specific to achieving and maintaining regional certifications for Victaulic’s products and facilities (to include both existing and new products). The position serves as the primary contact with specific regulatory agencies involving all aspects of the certification process, (from initial application to receipt of the official certification). The 
individual in this role will function on a technical level to resolve problems in support of 
timely project completion.   What you will do - Secure and maintain agency certifications for new products, technologies, and manufacturing facilities in support of Victaulic’s Global Sales initiatives. Establish 
and oversee product certification projects as required.- Maintain all required information for each certification project (project scope, 
agency quotes and authorizations, test plans and data records, sample requests, 
agency invoices, audit reports and status updates) in the appropriate project 
record within the RC Database. Monthly updates of all projects are required to 
ensure timely reports to Executive Management.- Serve as technical representative and primary contact with national agencies and local authorities. Work closely with agency project engineers and agency management throughout the certification process in support of Victaulic’s NPD/NTI initiatives.- With guidance from the Director and/or Manager of GRC, develop and maintain financial metrics specific to agency expenses and assist in annual budget 
planning.  - Serve as a resource for Technology Managers, Project Engineers and Product / 
Project Managers regarding agency testing procedures, applicable standards, 
and product marking requirements.- Participate directly in certification agency audits at Victaulic and supplier 
locations, to ensure compliance and address technical questions / audit follow-
up actions. - Serve as Victaulic technical representative on standards committees and provide 
input on the development of global / regional codes and standards.  Perform additional related projects as assigned by the Director and/or Manager 
of GRC.  About You - Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering) or equivalent technical experience.- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably any other language- Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.- Experience in Project Management-  Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.- Self-motivation and desire to excel.  What working at Victaulic offersAttractive remuneration packagePersonal growth - Cultivate personal growth through a well-defined career path offering annual progression opportunities.
