We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager who will be responsible for supporting product certification and ensuring all requirements are met for importation and sale of Apple products in Indonesia. Developing and implementing strategies to facilitate engagements on regulatory and spectrum matters with external agencies and government regulatory authorities on matters concerning rules and policy are required to support Apple’s product roadmap. We are seeking an individual to be responsible for Apple product regulatory compliance activities in Indonesia. We work collaboratively as a team that consists of highly skilled project managers, test engineers and developers – both local and remote. The candidate needs to understand the certification requirements, test plans and technologies, product categories and regulations that affect Apple’s products and services. The candidate must deeply understand Indonesia regulation and standardization, and experience in collaborating with KOMINFO, and other Indonesia ministry departments including MOI, MOT, etc. Strong wireless knowledge in BT/WLAN/NFC/UWB/WPT/GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G preferred.DescriptionDescriptionAs Product Compliance Manager at Apple, you will be responsible for managing new product introduction certification; maintaining all existing certifications with timely renewals, and managing all product certifications with local regulators. • Support a cross functional team to complete product testing and certification for Apple products in Indonesia. • Generate test and certification plan for Apple products to access the Indonesian market. • Perform and debug RF/EMC/SAR certification test in Indonesia. • Perform and obtain regulatory compliance certifications in Indonesia on time on target. • Attend RF/EMC/OTA/SAR etc. regulatory compliance standard meeting. • Tracking regulatory compliance requirement at Indonesia, including label, manual and RF test spec update, or any regulatory update or release related to Apple products. • Work with test lab and government officials/regulators on the regulatory approval process. • Work with government officials/regulators on standards and regulations, including attending workshops representing Apple • Manage any market surveillance activity and audit. • Proactively communicate issues with Apple cross functional teamsMinimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsDegree in Electronic / Electrical / Telecommunications Engineering.Minimum 5 + years experience in similar industry in Indonesia and have experience in collaborating with Indonesia regulators, like KOMINFO etc.Excellent project management skills.Consumer / IT products background, preferably in the telecom and consumer electronics sector.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal in Bahasa and English.Ambitious and dedicated, able to work independently and in multi-functional teams.Key QualificationsKey QualificationsPreferred QualificationsPreferred QualificationsMasters / PhD /MBA in Electronic / Electrical / Telecommunications EngineeringDeep understanding of wireless technology and test experience with BT/WLAN/NFC/UWB/WPT/GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G.Strong technical background, knowledge of technical Telecom certification requirements in IndonesiaPassionate, self-motivated individual to ensure compliance to Regulatory requirements for Safety and wireless technologies (Cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, GPS, NFC, etc.).Ability to prepare position papers and provide inputs to consultations on [spectrum and] regulatory developments.Knowledge on worldwide [and regional] regulatory standards to bring product through certification to market.Education & ExperienceEducation & ExperienceAdditional RequirementsAdditional RequirementsMore
