Job Description:

We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to support the Asia Compliance team in its oversight of the Regulatory Compliance Management Program in Asia Segment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Asia Chief Compliance Officer, Head of Regional Regulatory Compliance in their oversight roles to Asia Markets in ensuring that effective regulatory compliance management controls and processes are in place to comply with regulatory requirements.Keep Asia management and Global Compliance Office abreast of the new regulatory requirements, compliance issues and their business impact, alert them of risk areas, and recommend action to mitigate possible regulatory and reputation consequences and to coordinate with Asia markets on regulatory updates.Provide support in regulatory compliance communication, reporting and sharing of information.Support Regulatory Compliance in monitoring, assessment, validation and communication of entries and updates in the Archer system.Conduct trainings in Archer and other Regulatory Compliance Management Programs.Ad hoc task that may arise in support to Asia Compliance and Integrated Compliance Services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Legal, Finance, Business or related fields is preferred.Professional knowledge in Compliance, Legal, or Audit.5 years working experience in the Insurance, Asset Management, Banking or Financial Services.Highly exposed in Collaborating with Global Compliance Stakeholders.With or Relative exposure in Data Analysis - Issues and Corrective Actions.Experience in Compliance / Risk / Legal / Audit is preferred.Good interpersonal skills, creative and open minded, willingness to learn and adaptive to change.Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including MS Word, Excel, Power Point.Fluent in English, good English-language writing skills.Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change with a strong awareness and understanding of cultural diversity.Ability to work independently under pressure and make prompt decisions in a fast-paced environment.Diligent in meeting given deadlines.
