What You Will Do:As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will work on multiple concurrent assignments to prepare compliance plans, reports, and regulatory submissions based on current environmental regulations. They will maintain schedules, analyze and document critical project elements, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to determine project requirements. • Prepare environmental compliance plans, reports, and regulatory submissions • Review environmental regulations and determine applicability• Analyze data and prepare technical calculations. • Prepare permit applications and supporting documentation. • Negotiate permit terms to fit the client’s needs while maintaining compliance within regulatory framework. • Advise clients regarding regulatory compliance options. • Track compliance deadlines and be responsible for transmittal of numerous reports. • Assist with proposal preparation, cost estimates, and contribute to client relationship efforts.• Assist senior level management on larger and more complex projects. ·• Conduct inspections and audits. Education | Experience:What you will bring to this role: • Bachelor’s Degree in in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience • EIT license preferred • 3 or more years of applicable experience in regulatory compliance • Expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Ability to review and understand complex local, state and federal regulations • 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER trained, preferred• Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to lead client presentations
