Regulatory Compliance Supervisor

Contract: 15 months
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing Regulatory Compliance team workload, to ensure efficient projects delivery according to the business expectation - on time & high quality. Cooperating and communicating with Plant Quality, R&D, Technical departments, Commercialization, Marketing, Sales daily. Ensuring that relevant information is cascaded down as appropriate. Supporting up to 60% of operational work based on business priorities, including review and approval of product formulations, product labels, and/or documents to ensure their regulatory compliance. Coordinating recruitment, training, development plan, and adherence to McCormick competencies & values. Leading multi-functional projects, including project meetings, ensuring that internal procedures and work instructions are in place. Sharing ideas and suggestions aimed at enhancing collaboration and improving processes. Promoting a mindset centered on root cause analysis and process discipline. Providing monthly KPI reports to the Regulatory Compliance Team Lead. Coordinating internal data auditing, RCA and CAPA, as needed. Supporting planning resources, projects, forecasting and providing weekly/ monthly reports/ updates on project progress to the Regulatory Compliance Team Lead.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
High University diploma in Food Science, Chemistry or related discipline. 3 + years’ experience in Food Industry or similar area Informal Leadership Experience will be an advantage. Previous experience in People Management will be an advantage. Fluent English. Knowledge of other languages (French, Spanish, Italian) is a plus. Knowledge of Food Safety Quality Systems/Food Certification Standards (Halal/Kosher/Organic) will be an advantage. Expertise in food flavors industry, including knowledge of flavor formulation and regulatory requirements will be an advantage. Good understanding of specific food safety management and food regulatory issues; possesses understanding on product composition and communication of regulatory information. Internal auditing experience will be an advantage. Organized, methodical, detail oriented and ability to multitask. Able to prioritize and manage time and team effectively, with high sense of urgency. Ability to work effectively across the business functions and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced level of computer literacy (specifically Excel, SAP, Outlook, and Lotus Notes desirable) Ability to work in a 2-shift pattern (1st shift start between 7:00am and 10:00am, 2nd shift start between 12:00pm and 2:00pm).
