Regulatory Compliance Supervisor (Hybrid)

Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesHas responsibility for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day activities for employees:Assigns and checks work.Responsible for performance and coaching of staff and has a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management.  Provides training to new members of the team.Has accountability for compliance filing decisions made by members of the team/unit.  Completes or supervises the review, documentation, and/or filing transactions. Resolves and/or assists with researching, documenting, and communicating highly complex compliance related issues.Monitors pertinent insurance publications to determine impact on line of business from a compliance perspective.Utilizes and participates in maintaining systems to perform filing submissions, research, audits, and other functions relating to compliance with state and federal regulations which may include the following:Completes filing submissions and responses using the appropriate software (i.e. SERFF, Tracker).Develops and prepares reports.Monitors data integrity and facilitates resolution with inconsistencies in the data.Participates in documenting procedure manuals/standard operating procedures.Participates in identifying/researching improvements to procedures and/or systems.Performs testing of new systems releases (i.e. Tracker). May participate as a member of an audit team necessary to ensure compliance with Company policies, practices and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.Field of Study: Business, Liberal Arts or a related discipline.Experience: Generally, 3 to 5 years of related experience, including 0 to 2 years of leadership experience. May have specialized underwriting/actuarial or law knowledge, which allows incumbents to answer DOI inquires. Progression toward certification in area of expertise preferred; appropriate certifications could include a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Program in General Insurance (INS), or Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI).
