The Pre-Owned Operations team is seeking a customer-obsessed Program Manager who can apply broad risk, compliance and regulatory knowledge to difficult and complex initiatives. You will assess risks, anticipate issues, overcome technical obstacles, make difficult trade-off selections, and balance business needs and technical constraints.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies for Pre-Owned device transactions, data privacy, supply chain operations, and more - worldwide.
- Oversee regulatory compliance efforts related to used device sales, used device trade-in, data security, consumer protection and other regulated activities worldwide.
- Maintain a horizon view in order to detect and respond to new regulatory developments and issues that may pose compliance risk; educate management and guide teams in the development of a risk-based and coordinated response across dependent teams.
- Align multiple stakeholders on appropriate solutions that meet regulatory expectations and align multiple stakeholders on appropriate solutions that balances regulatory expectations and Amazon’s approach to operational efficiency.
- Manage examination and external audit processes, maintaining productive relationships with external assessors on an ongoing cadence and ensuring timely and accurate response to inquiries.
- Lead contract negotiations and management with third-party partners involved in trade-in, recycling, refurbishment, logistics, and other operations.
- Direct multiple projects focused on process improvements, new market entries, and product/service expansions.
- Build and guide a high-performing team to support risk, compliance, contracting, and project work.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on risk/compliance issues and opportunities.
- Monitor and execute projects on time and with high quality standards.
- Effectively communicate to ensure project alignment and progress within the organization.
