THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Regulatory Food Safety Intern, you'll play a role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our food products. This position will involve directly supporting our Regulatory Food Safety Programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, decisive decision-making abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Provide direct support to the pest control program by reviewing service reports, analyzing trends, providing escalation supportand ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulations.

Assist with the 3rd party audit program, including management of audit criteria and follow-up on corrective actions to ensure audit readiness.

Support the regulatory compliance program by conducting research, maintaining records, partnering with operations, and assisting in the development of policies and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Facilities, Operations, and Property Management, and Licensing teams, to implement food safety initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Business, or a related field.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to learn about food safety and regulatory compliance in a real-world setting.

Knowledge of food safety principles or interest in gaining hands-on experience in the industry.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in advanced Microsoft and Adobe software.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $18.75–$23.81. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
